DRAFT Chapter 1 – Planning Area Description (June 2022) – Chapter 1 describes the Flood Planning Region, existing natural flood mitigation features, constructed major flood infrastructure, and major infrastructure and flood mitigation projects currently under development.
DRAFT Chapter 2 – Flood Risk Analysis (June 2022) – The goal of Chapter 2 is to perform an existing and future condition flood risk analyses for the region comprising flood hazard analyses that determine location, magnitude, and frequency of flooding; flood exposure analyses to identify who and what might be harmed within the region; and vulnerability analyses to identify vulnerabilities of communities and critical facilities.
DRAFT Chapter 7 – Flood Response Information and Activities (June 2022) – Chapter 7 summarizes the nature and types of flood response preparations within the flood planning region including providing where more detailed information is available regarding recovery.
DRAFT Chapter 8 – Administrative, Regulatory, and Legislative Recommendations (June 2022) – Chapter 8 documents recommendations for legislative, regulatory, and administrative improvements necessary to facilitate floodplain management and flood mitigation planning and implementation.
DRAFT Chapter 9 – Flood Infrastructure Financing Analysis (June 2022) – Chapter 9 indicates how sponsors will propose to finance recommended FMEs, FMSs, and FMPs as well as documents available federal and state assistance programs.
